If it's any consolation; he's a terrible shot.
I'm glad you like him! It's interesting how many folks find this guy
to be so endearing when i sort of set out to make him a sleazy,
unlikable slob. It's funny how characters can take on a life of their own
beyond what the person who created them expected. But i guess that's
kind of what we are trying to do in the first place. :)

Well, he IS sleazy, but it's countered by how often he gets foiled by comical situations. Kind of the way Elmer and Daffy are cute, despite one being a murderous psychopath and the other being a narcissistic megalomaniac. The fact that Bugs or situations always end up causing them to be hoist by their own petard softens their actions a lot. You know that it's ok to think they're cute for trying because you know that in the end, cosmic (or comic?) 'justice' will prevail.
