This helped a ton. The way I go about coloring will probably change as a result of this drawing. First, sketch, then do the shades and shapes, especially if you're trying to do a non-lineart dominated piece. Then start coloring. At the very end, add some outlines or some other extreme contrast to give definition to areas that need it. If you're working digitally, dont be afraid to change colors and areas as needed.

faces are hard in this style. I'll have to practice them.
