Been a while since you've seen this familiar face, eh? Kululu and I hadn't really clicked for a long time, but recently it started to bother me more and more. I'd changed her design up a little a couple of times to see if maybe change was what she (and I) needed. First it was just a haircut, then a few colour changes, and then full marking/design alterations... I challenged myself the other night to draw her again since it had been so long. I told myself to draw whatever felt right, even if that meant another drastic change...and this is what I ended up with. Her palette is a little warmer, and her hair is a bit darker than before, but the rest is the same. I love this design, and I honestly feel like I've made a very important connection with her again. She feels right, and I couldn't be happier. ;-; <3

I've been in a lil bit of an art slump again, but I think this was definitely a step in the right direction. I haven't drawn much for myself for a while now, so it felt really nice... Things have also calmed down at home a tiny bit financially, thus why I hadn't posted a YCH or taken commissions again just yet...buuuut we could definitely still use the money, so I guess this could be a new example for full colour with a simple gradient/brush background. I'll post for new spots or do another YCH really soon, I promise...I just need to get myself straightened out first so that I can actually draw again. I don't want people to have to wait a long time for art. .x.;

Anyway, just really wanted to share this cause I actually like how it turned out... Hope everyone is doing well~ ;v;
