A blade of darkness to cut through the wicked
A piece long awaited for from
and well worth the wait at that. Here he have Dante in his full armor, ready for battle.
For a brief bio, Dante hails from the Elizabethan age, where he was the personal adviser, sorcerer, and assassin for the queen. Even on secret missions, he can exude a charm that allows him to proceed without ever raising suspicion. For a selfless act of sacrifice, the Sleeping King grants him youth and longevity, along with the powers over Darkness and Shadow. In present times, he works to stop the Beings from Beyond the Stars (based on the outer gods of HP Lovecraft) from enslaving the world. In his day to day life, he has amassed a fortune through various companies and provides the knight's funding.
Powers
Darkness Manipulation: Darkness in both a physical and spiritual sense. Dante's primary element. He is able to convert the surrounding mana or his inner mana into darkness, allowing him to remove all light. being a natural assassin, this gives him a massive advantage over most foes. In addition, he can command dark energies to perform various attacks from blades of darkness, spheres of dark energy, dark energy blasts, even some that boarder on gravity. Powerful, he does prefer attacks that quickly end his opponent, opting not to drag out an unnecessary fight.
Shadow Manipulation: His secondary element. Dante is able to manipulate his and the shadows around him. He can quickly pass through shadows and create duplicates of himself from shadows. He may also create shadow limbs to grab and bind his enemy before making his move. Finally, by grasping the shadow of another, he is able to harm them by harming the shadow. However, this can only be done on weaker enemies.
Nothingness: Dante's third power, gained when Tai became a true knight. This power allows Dante to erase whatever he wills from existence. This can be physical, such as a wound, or something intangible such as memories or pain. However, each use comes at a cost. Erasing takes away from his finite inner mana. Intangible things take less while erasing physical things, such as an attack, take a lot more. Attempting to erase another being could potentially drain him completely, and thus cause him to be erased as well. As such, Dante rarely uses this power except under extreme conditions.
