These two are perhaps my favorite CityZoo characters (the comic I'm sort of working on). Usually, because of how the MC (Rose) sees these two, you get the idea that there's nothing more between them than casual sex based on Vix' abusive personality and Phoenix shyness, causing him to see Vix as the only valid outlet for his homosexual feelings. We never really see the two going to concerts or the cinema together, or Vix dragging Phoenix along to go shopping, or Phoenix getting Vix crazy enough to play late night silly boardgames - even though they really do all those things. But the comic only shows the 'benefits' part of 'friends with benefits'. So I really, really wanted to show the two just being cute. Vix isn't wearing his contacts, which is why he has such a cute face, and I actually prefer this hair style to the mohawk. A really quick sketch, no references, bad colouring... but I had fun ^^
