Woah! I saw this in my thumbnails, like "That looks like Serge... THAT LOOKS LIKE AN EN-IFIED SERGE HOMAGWASH" and clicked blindly several times in excitement before I clicked it properly LOL

I had always imagined one day of seeing Serge in your style, I always loved your style. ON creepy characters its so gritty and harsh (in VERY good ways!) and you understand how to draw something that looks sickly or underfed, which is how Serge should look (but I also suck at it and just make him look like a noodle LOL)

I love how snake-like his fangs look, he is based off of a reptilian/feline character (PSSJ ANYONE? ;)) so it works really nicely. I love how he DOES Look sickly and underfed with his bones all about town and showing where they shouldn't be (instead of my avoiding them entirely LOL)

also his eyes, damn! THEY ARE PIERCING MY SOUL and I love how you were not afraid to go crazy with the lines under the eyes - they are part of his character that people think is just my style! (...well, it kinda is, but hey)

Also I LOVE how you did his ears! His ears ARE supposed to be channeling rabbit and I try to show that, but I guess I fail cause sometimes people draw them cat-like still or just forget their bunny-like floppyness.

I am also delighted to see you incorporate his nose slits! And those claws are fierce! And his arm clothwraps how they are barely looking like they should be staying on long, or at all, kind of like a square soft character!

Summary: I LOVE THIS! :) :) :) :) :) I am honoured to have art done by THE EN! I am really glad you liked the picture of Duke. :) I am still rather proud of it! I think getting an EN art in return is much better than money (since that was technically like a 9 year late commission LOL)!

I'm so, SO glad you like this pic because I love that pic you did for me so heartily that I really wanted to do something good for you in return.
And when I'm drawing for someone way better/skilled than I am it's always nerve racking!

You have such a strong, distinct style and I'm so used to clinging to my "properly" proportioned anatomy that at first I just kept looking at the ref sheet like: "hold me ". Then I decided to just go for it and really play up the gangly and the skinny and creepy and I really like how he turned out.

I did try no nose and where I was trying to show the head tilted down slightly so the eyes could be all 'grrr', I just had to do a nose of some kind. Glad that's okay with you!

Haha, I love claws, I see exaggerated claws on a character and I am in happy land.

I realise I did forget his trefoil/triquetra tattoo in this ink and I apologise for that. Adding it into the coloured version for sure!
(I'll move this to scraps once I get the colour done, still only on flats so it might take a while. *L* )
