It's been two years or more since I wrote anything. I would have to say though this story may seem gloomy to most people, but that it doesn't bother me much since I got it out of my head. As you know I'm a chronic day dreamer, I often day dream stories in my head and usually try to role play them. Granted though, it's rude of me to dictate what I want to people so I just let these float in my head until they disappear. This is of a particular day dream I had, it's written in first person since I feel I'm better in that perspective then writing normally.
I'm not trying to barf my opinion on this story, merely just giving a reason why the main character seems to become ok with what's happening around him. None of the characters have names simply because I didn't feel like giving them names for people to steal, nor is there any dialog.

I love how nature begins to reclaim the world in the end, the main character getting to witness it from on high. I don't know why, I just do.
I know you just said you write for acceptance, but do you do it for you or others? When you can strike a balance that makes you comfy, I think that's when writers usually feel like their work is getting good. For instance, when I began writing Wishful Thinking, I was just shooting in the dark, and lo and behold, people eventually found it and liked it. Heck, that's what happened with me and your writing, didn't it?
Why would being albino, a condition only affecting pigmentation cause any creature to not have the ability to reproduce?
(from an albino)
*Whistles and tries to hide.* >.> <.<
Pretty much I remember hearing that when I was young, but sorry about that. If anything, we can just assume the main character had a similar error as me and doesn't really know why he's being adopted or why she doesn't seem to give birth as it could be entirely another reason. That's one of the great things about fiction, you can always correct your mistake later in a sequel.
Kinda a thoughtful story that makes one think.
Really though, I liked your work as well wished I could run into some of the dragons you draw. They seem to have such cute personalities.
(still owes you *among others* a request pic from eka's of I remembers correctly... but nobody heard that <.=.<;)
I've added you to my MSN messanger, granted though MSN is flaky with my connection and I'm usually on more on the weekends because work takes my time on week days. I don't mind chatting too, though a word of warning I can be quite shy and sometimes I brain dead on coming up with topics.
