I do chat on cb but all the equipment here is amateur radio gear. That one radio closest to you in the pic thats on will talk several hundred miles with just a half watt of power.

Idk what the heck my dad has, but we've talked to irland before, and austrilia. And that's pretty far lmao. So if anything I might not hear you, butt you'll hear me haha.

never know.. conditions are good you can talk many places.. I have talked to England, Japan, Italy, St Thomas Islands,

lol ITs in the living room so yeah it has to be kinda neat.. also my kids like to be a part of what I play or work on so they are curious as I dont know what. so it has to stay neat and clean. I also have to ensure anything thats reachable is not kept plugged in just as a precaution.

and a big old hug back again - I am so happy you are home again and better. I knew a fellow who almost lost his wife because the meds the doctor put her on put her into a coma and they almost unplugged her. He researched it himself on the net and had the med stopped and she recovered.

I do some brass... when I can do it. I have a long wire here about 3 inches from the ground and 4000 feet long.. I pick up everything with it
