I get the feeling that you tried to do to much with the song. This is most likely due to the fact I listen to Trance a little to much, but I feel like the song changes to quickly to really get in the "mood" of the song. This by no means makes it bad though.

The music is phenomenal, it's the kind of music that isn't simply a clever mix of beats and melody, it makes you actually feel something. So major congrats on that, It's my guess you probably have a lot of passion for music, or at the very least had a lot of fun on this song.

I don't really know what sort of feeling you are/were suppose to get from it, but anyone is open to getting different feelings from what they do by how they look at things. I'm just glad that you liked it.

If its not to much to ask, could I ask you how you think I could make it better? I know you said that it changes to quickly (Though you did say that part of your comment was based from your listening to Trance, not that that's a bad thing at all).

You have from 0-1:15, 1:15-2:33, 2:33-3:35, and 3:35-end which all seem like they are different parts of the song. They all do tie into the end part of the song, but I just feel like the division is a little bit to strong. I guess I'd like to see more elements of the different parts interspersed thought the song. Like what you did in 3:12-3:17 how there is the strand of the first melody before the beat kicks up strong. I guess the problem I had with it is that it has a lot of good elements in the song but I didn't get them interspersed throughout the song as well because, 1:15-2:33 works really well by itself but not mixed into the rest of the melody.

It's mostly just a picky taste on my part I guess. Re-listening to your song a few times I realize that you did tie it together and I apparently missed that the first couple times. And the pickyness is because of how simple Trance is, it usually has one main beat and one main melody. Your song didn't and I got a feeling of somewhat indecisive direction, instead of developing the song like you were. So really it was that your song was more complex than the music I listened to T_T

So really it's just me being picky, the song was good, (better than my norm actually) and after listening to it a few more times I can recognize the stuff I missed before. ^_^ nice job.

No worries about any of it. I actually like that you were able to not just kiss butt and say it was great (though I know that sometimes that’s about all someone can say about it). I'm just getting started on working on music, so I've yet to find where I fit in, what I'm good at/bad at, and what I like to do, so any and all comments like yours are wonderful.

After listening through it again while reading your comment, I can see where you said that the division is a bit strong at times, and I'll keep this in mind while working on the next one, see how I like it, and decide to scrap the hours of work or record it and post it. X3
