This is the transistor amplifier stage that is used to drive the little speaker to the right. Also the battery holder , on off button dial and the band select switch was also mounted.

Tecnically this will be stage four in the book. The daughter board (amplifier) can be removed and an ic amp to drive the earpiece, and extend battery life can be placed here instead of the daughter board.

The mother board is silkscreened with all the parts and its got seperations in the different stages that are used for theory alignment and so on. So for all the geeks and solder wickers these kits are fun.
