The remains of a small child that strayed off the path...
Actually I can't remember, this was a couple months ago. But there was nothing between where I was standing and this owl, so anything is possible. Actually the whole park pretty heavily relies on the honor system, but that's Canadians for you I guess. (and that doesn't even really work because my friend's father, who is Canadian, kept hopping the fences in the few spots they actually had them)
