I really liked the hanging ghost sold in stores so I decided to make one :)
The head is made of ducktaped news paper, and I just positioned it into an almost skull shape, painted several spots white, add some red paint for blood, hot glue cloth hanger into a piece of foam and made sure the hanging loop is through the skull staying on top of the head. There are 3 layers of fabrics I used, black cape for the hood covers the head and cheeks, black/gray cobweblike cloth (store brought) covers from shoulders to below, and one more layer of cheese cloth on top to add the floating effect.
I kind wish to make skeleton hands and fingers for this guy but I do not want to cut wires or tape papers for it again, doesn't seem very durable to me so I just left it for it is. Pricewise....old newspaper is free, black hood fabric was left over from old project. I had cloth hanger and foam from other projects as well. Cheese cloth costs about 7 but have plenty extra and the black and gray cloth was 5, so I say making one is about 7~10 dollars :)
Kind proud of this myself LOL but for real, hope it inspires anyone to make props like this without too much material
