The connection's less tenuous than you'd think! See, Charles Schultz was from the North Bay, which about now should have more pumpkin patches than anywhere west of Wisconsin or so. And I associate the North Bay with Lovecraft's stuff because of some of the scenery and because a friend who lived there introduced me to the game, Arkham Horror...
