The reason I said sort of is because this is supposed to be a fan character (just for me ;) ) that I'm trying to flush out, and while I'm very proud of the old WIP, one of the reasons I stopped working on it was due to me not really liking how it was turning out. NOW this isn't to say that the other one was flawed, but I had this vision of how my character would look like; but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what needed changing and while the other one was close, I didn't feel it was close enough. But then after a while I decided to look back at it and suddenly LIGHTBULB I somehow knew what I wanted changing. I fixed some anatomical mistakes and then I changed what i wanted, now this isn't a perfect match of what was in my head but it's so damn close I say it's damn near perfect.
Now I think I knew what i wanted changing because I left some time pass by. I do have this horrible habbit of working on something straight through, completely powering through without so much as a rest. Which I think is what causes me to not only get burnt out on an image and leave it hanging for a long time. And the more time passes, the less inclined I feel to complete it because it feels wrong to, because it feels completed enough. Vicious cycle. I need to remember to not burn myself out haha. I need to keep practicing my coloring.
That said I've gone too long without updating so I dug deeps in the bowls of my computer to see what I had to show. Sadly nothing sexy, except HER FACE

I'm working on a commission at the moment. I've had my ass handed to me for a while due t having too many hours hahaha. But I have some time off so I thought I'd come in and show some things I didn'worked on for a while and maybe by the end of the week I can upload my commisison comic :)
Haha, well I do need money which is why I am working so hard. I would love to be one of those people that has no retail job but a decent job with decent wage so I didn't have to take all this overtime to break even hahaha! But I will try to slow down :) It isn't healthy working hours like these and not getting any art done :(
Thanks! Still waiting about the turning tutorial ;) I've been refreshing on some anatomy books (what I was reading in bed) and relearning skeletal structures, still would love to do more with lighting and shading, as they are my weakspots.
