I'm still not totally satisfied with this, I really wish i could learn more about how to use layers on GIMP, this would have worked out a lot better had i been able to keep the lineart on another layer with a transparent background, so i didn't lose the nice lineart i had.
I do like a lot of my shading, i think needles turned out well, he's pretty cute and i love the way the glowing holes and his tenticles turned out. I remember seeing the background colour a lot in Vera's work, or a shade of it, so i thought it would be a nice background for her >^.^<, a lot better than white. I also like how Ricket's eyes turned out, i'm pretty proud of that, and her face which i finished a couple months ago when this was originally "due".
critique- not "i don't like this"- is really appreciated, if somethings off, lemme know what it is so i can improve. Also if anyone has any tips for me regarding GIMP, i'd appreciate that too.
