Orange is certainly a colour that will stand out.
Do you have any videos of you fursuiting, by chance? :) I think that the fursuit is only part of it- the other part is performing, I think. I know I went around in my fursuit pretending to tickle people with my tail because it was firm enough and long enough to comfortably hold :3
