
Here is another one of my restorations. It's a 1907 Gas Boy gas pump known as a curb pump or a sidewalk pump. On the left is how I found it in a barn. Bought it from the person and set to take it apart. On the right you see it finished. I broke it down cleaning all the metal, repainting the cast parts. Replaced the up pipe as it was broken and repaired once before. I replaced the hose with the proper cloth covered restoration hose, and I had to buy a antique nozzle for it. Otherwise everything is all original to the day it was made. This pump is, what... 106 years old.
I entered it in the grand January first auction at Ploss Auction in Corry PA. Here is hoping my months worth of work pays off. ^^
