Here is the design on Auric's amulet, which is generally worn as a pendant on a necklace. These details may only be visible in a large/detailed drawing but I figured I needed have a reference picture of what I thought it should look like up close.

The teardrop shapes with the round holes at the top and bottom are fittings that help hold the smooth convex oval 'stone', which shows through the holes. The backing and fittings are gold, the star and its rays are white, and the 'stone' does not have a fixed color -- it can be red, blue, green, yellow or anything that goes with the mood, though it should be a jewel tone (rather than a pastel for instance). I took ideas and elements from a number of sources but I hope the result is original.
