I've a couple usable blades and more decorative, I'm a collector but most of the shops out here are out of business or licensed so too expensive. I've a full tang machete from Columbia though I'm rather proud of. Have you tested it yet at all? I hit myself in the nuts with a bull whip so careful.
I've heard you can sharpen with leather but I don't know the process. That being said I've done a whetstone. But that is an intense deal I'm impressed. My machete was a gift from a relative but I've more in my gallery some usable some not. I like that it was only fourty though that makes me want to try for collecting but our shipping laws are a little more ridiculous.
