I was asked a while ago how I chose the name "kludde" and halloween is just around the corner so I guess it's a good time to post this.
I've always liked the black dog legends of Europe so I borrowed the name from one of the more interesting examples; http://www.monstropedia.org/index.php?title=Kludde
It haunts the countryside in belgium (i've also seen it listed with celtic myths, possibly incorrectly) where it appears near water or crossroads at sunset and will pursue travellers until dawn, always remaining just a few steps behind, even weaving through trees like a serpent to keep pace. It can appear as a dog, cat, bird, horse, bat, pretty much anything really but is recognizable by it's dark coloration, large size(sometimes described as long bodied) and flickering blue flames for eyes. (sometimes a single flame over it's head) It is often draped in chains which can be heard rattling before the creature appears and is either completely silent or makes a cry of 'kludde, kludde'
I was originally just planning on using it as a username but I ended up using it as a character name too, at least until I come up with something better.
acrylic and watercolor

And I assume that you had just scanned the original?
The reason I ask... could you scan a hyper resolution? Say... 5000 pixel wide?
Because, if that's the case, I can probably reprint it on my plotter at about 24"x36"
I like large framed artwork... specially of this caliber...

that can certainly be done, and since it would be a print and not the original I think $5 would make more sense as a price.
Drop me a note when you're ready so we can exchange email/paypal info and i'll get that high-res scan into a zip folder for you.
'artwork of this caliber' aww jeez ^///^

that's fantastic... I have always wanted to try a method of generating layer effects by sectioning parts of a picture and designating each section to a pane of glass... layering the glass, and then, in this case, adding a single blue LED to the pane set for the eyes...
food for thought... I'll get in touch on my next paycheck...
