So I've been looking for a nice 4x4 for the right price since I moved out to the central part of my state early (very early) this year. I didn't want to drive the Mustang in the winter again, I'd hate to see it get all rusted out due to the salt on the roads up here in the winter...

So, I stumbled on an almost perfect 1996 Ford F-150 XLT with a lot of sweet features for a truck. Captain's chairs, push button 4x4 and 4x4 Low, almost NO rust (it's originally from Florida), which is unheard of up here. I never liked the 1997 body style of the F-150. This is the last and most "refined" version of the true American pickup truck and I got an incredible deal on it. The perfect addition to the fleet, I must say :)

Being patient and picky for what I was looking for paid off, I could not ask for a better truck for the money.

I plan to use it as my winter vehicle (and intend to wash it regularly to try to minimize rusting) and as a general purpose utility vehicle when needed. Summer time is for the Mustang :)
