Well here's Version 2. Its more upright and it has an open mouth for seeing *seeing is important I guess ;)
And it has a little diagram of me inside!
Yeah Im still hunched over a bit, but its better than V.1
What do you think?

Oh gawd, this would be totally awesome!
And I agree that hunching would get to be tiresome (When I was doing nude modeling for college students I had to hunch several times and MAN that kills a body) and just bad for you. Maybe see if you can make it so the character looks hunched, but you aren't.
<3 If I saw this suit, I would die.

I think that could work. It reminds me of Sharky's sharksuit ...which is more like a small vehicle than a costume, but it's worn :P
Just be sure to make it dark inside, or wear a black mask, because looking into a fursuit's throat and seeing a creepy human parasitizing it is EEEK ...or you could pretend to be vorebait i guess!

From my experience with large costumes/fursuits...it looks like you will have difficulty with many ordinary things...like sitting down, getting through doorways, and walking other than in a straight line.
But hey! That's what fat fursuits are all about! The design looks good! Hopefully I'll get to see you in it someday!

I reccomend www.lionofthesun.com . He's expensive, but good! I get my suit this fall! :D This thing looks so cool... If you get it made, I so want to see it in person! XD
my thoughts is that the tail, is very large...and that fursuits...often have to be constrained by the human body they cover.
*shrugs*
my point is, simply, the closer you get to being a human suit, the easier it is to wear.
the further it is from human shaped...the harder it is, the more complications you'll have.
*shrugs* again.

I think I need to rub the rex belly for luck. :) Conceptually great and looks doable. I suppose it really DOES Come down to someone building it. All the finer details (like how to build the body all big and pudgy but still have it be collapsible so you can store it in a plastic tub or something the other 360 days of the year) you'll have to work out with a builder. :)
If it comes out looking like that, though: awesome. :)

The posture would make it easier for you to be more "dino" like with your movements...making your more flexible and agile for moving quickly. Though your back will have enough stress, I would consider looking into the support going onto your shoulders so that way you can shape your spine whichever way you want and just have cushion behind it.
Yup, hunching does make you in character, i'm just worrying that it will give you a stiff back spine later since the suit might get heavy on you, especially the belly side and the head, hehe,
And yeah perhaps you should do something with the eyes and make him less gasping, UNLESS you want him to gasp at everyone to "Feed Him" XD

The only thing I could see goin' wrong with that is the back pain you might develop from the bend you'd be making, but I'm sure with alittle rework, that can be altered to accommodate a more comfortable position. Also, big suits are a bit more difficult to make that a slim suit, I'd hafta say. ^~^; So major props on takin' on something a step up from the norm!
That's certainly a really great looking suit! One thing I wonder about is the weight of the suit considering how big it is with all the padding. It might be more difficult to stay hunched over if the suit turns out to be heavy. There's also the very real fact that you will be inundated with people wanting to hug you once you appear, so I'd make sure you can maintain your balance well so that an overly enthusiastic furry fan doesn't knock you on your tail.
And yes, you absolutely have to get a large plush cupcake you can carry around with you, perhaps on a lanyard around your neck so you don't have to worry about dropping it.
Very cool looking suit. I hope to see you in it some day!

Awesome conceptual art, if I might say so; the hunched posture can be coped with - I've been hunched over a computer since birth and it never did me no harm - providing the costume doesn't weigh too much. My concern though is for the zip - with arms so little, how does one get back out again? *chirrup*
*wades through the sea of comments* Wow that is AWESOME....that's totally the way to do it...figure out the ideal shape for the suit, then work the logistics of how to stick a human in there. They are easily my favorite kind of suits, because there is a dedication to the overall shape of the character, rather than worrying about where arms/legs/etc goes. I've been dying to make a big waddling padded suit like this, and this is a great design.
This can work indeed - I was so locked on the digitigrade thing that I didn't think you could trick the public in having legs and feet big enough for not needing any stilt from the ankle to the ground, that would prove very uncomfortable.
Man, this will be HUGE !!!!!! Work on it will be immense, but the result and effect also ^^
