Oh god, I highly suggest you getting the chance to play the games in full.
First game I played was the second one, and the final battle with Zeus took about 3 months for me and my stepbrother to finish, but that might have been because he was 8 and I was 13 at the time, and we had it on the hardest difficulty LOL
But totally worth all that replaying. Those games are the sole reason I want a PS3 >w<
