The man who wished to become a dragon pilot
"Why, my little friend, would someone wish to become a dragon pilot? You have just been saved from your crashing plane. All the others are dead. I firmly believe this was a lesson meant to be learned!"
"I wish to become a dragon pilot because dragons are not planes... that's why I thought... well, I thought you're easier to... I mean that you're..."
"...that I, as a living being, am easier to control?"
The rest of the story is up to you. Is this a good dragon? An evil dragon? Good villain? Bad hero? Who's who? Personally, I love stories with twists.
This picture was a minor art style experiment. Can't help but make up mini stories while making these. Actually, this was meant to be a quick pic but noo, I get distracted with dragon details.

This is definitely an interesting submission, I can see why this is on your featured list.
Fantastic job on the dragon, I really like the amount of detail and lines you put into the design, the complexity of the lighting and shading really gives it a lot of depth as well.
The human character looks interesting as well, and seeing them both from this angle gives us a nice perspective on just how large the dragon is; I also like how the expression on the humans face seems fitting for someone that close to something so enormous.
Excellent work on this posting overall, I'll definitely have to add it to my favorites list. Keep up the good work.
