This pic fought me, tooth and nail, through the entire process.
I'm happy with the outcome. Prints on sale over at my DeviantArt page and at my Zazzle page if you don't dig the border.

this picture has me mesmerized. I'm wandering back and forth between rooms cleaning my trashed apartment, passing by my PC, and I keep thinking in my mind what his personality would be like

Not a problem. If you put my picture on your desktop, what you do with it is your business.
He's happy because he's friends with so many creatures of the air (and a mole he meets on a mountaintop to eat clover and crickets and drink dew at dawn), but he's also sad because he's very old and hasn't seen another dragon in a very long time (imagine what a long time is to a dragon). The other air dragons went away and never came back and he doesn't know where they went. He's wise and old and harms none that don't harm him and few that do. He is curious about people but was warned by Zen Dra, the Dragon of Thunder, that humans are strange and new and, like the very young, don't know manners or their own strength so he avoids them. He spends his days trying to bring the weather where it needs to go. That's his job. He listens for farmers' prayers for rain and children's prayers that the rain will end and answers them as best he can.
I hadn't really thought much about it, but you expressed an interest.
