"I watched as your parents abandoned you."
Lord Shen, from Kung Fu Panda 2. Forever fan. If I wasn't, I wouldn't have drawn these mad details out. :'D
I'm becoming a bigger Kung Fu Panda admirer almost every day, I realized. And I'm not even into CGI (the non-2D stuff) at all. But into good stories and designs with lots of research behind the scenes.
Besides, these guys got this combination of action, ridiculous comedy, and emotional family stories, which is a mixture I'm completely into. The story of Kung Fu Panda 2 spoke to me personally as well as some of the quotes there. For almost every stereotypical reason possible.

Thank you so much! c:
I like both the first and second movie, actually. The first movie had better fighting scenes on the big picture, and the second movie had more detailed graphics and a more emotional story. I can't really choose. The first villain was a physical force, the second villain used mental force more.
But yeah, I remember the first time I saw the trailer of Kung Fu Panda 2, I thought "Whoah, a peacock villain? This I must see!" Because I LOVE untraditional villains. x) And Shen quickly became an all-time fav villain too.
Gary Oldman is a true actor in my opinion, he has a way of playing such different roles that you don't recognize him anymore. (I don't like seeing a role, or hearing a voice, and immediately recognizing the person behind it. Takes away the magic.) Gary Oldman also voiced Ruber in Quest for Camelot.
Sorry for fanboying. xD
