Semi-feral otters:
Pocket sized for your convenience during snuggling.
Unassuming but energetic, much to the demise of all sweet things you might throw at them, but much like hobbits deceptively clever and older than they appear!
Short enough to need to climb up you to reach that shelf and curious enough to try.
Over excitable enough to remember that much like feral otters, they are still not very monkey like.
Still feral enough to do a weasel war dance when stressed out on the top shelf of the pantry.
Still bouncy enough to do it all again when they fall off the shelf and realize that they were only five feet up.

^_^ Don't all otters pretend to be serious when they feel like someone might judge them?
The problem is that most otters are excitable and curious, so to us what might seem serious is quite silly to others after all.
Who's going to take an otter seriously if they can't even reach the top of their pantry without a ladder? Why sometimes I'd get worried people might talk to me like I was a child and I'm an engineer. XP Not that I'm afraid of heights or anything...not at all!

Guess you're right. Also they have a hard time focussing on a single task. Often times there is just something way more interesting, that gets their attention.
Wonder how they would be able to study properly, if they can't concentrate on the long run. :D
You should consider getting into underwater engineering or something.
