the fire lit by others is not meant here
It is the fire that can be lit by an exploding light, by loose wires or connections, by too hot lights close to a clothing etc. etc.
That is the reason why at least one other person has to be there for security IF someone in a costume works on stage, that one is responsible alone for the security on stage..... usually there is more than one person though.

ok, let me address this before people consider listening to you...
POINT 1 - there are no hot lamps anywhere near any material and all materials used are, by law, flame resistant.
POINT 2 - there were 2 fire extinguishers behind the stage and 2 on portable trays either side of the stage.
POINT 3 - Alton Towers is the UK's premier theme park, do you not think their fire officer checked everything?
POINT 4 - every power connector used in this set-up, with the exception of the entry points on the light fixtures which are IEC are ceeform and massivley over-rated.
POINT 5 - all scanners and moving light fixtures in use here are designed to contain all lamp failures, the flame lamps are neon and less than a watt.
POINT 6 - although i spent almost 20 years as an event tech, I am A qualified electrical engineer now working for GE Energy, I own all the equipment, the only actual fault is that the cabling is un-tidy but as it was dark with the exception of the camera flash and i did the event for free - i don't care.
There was a tech less than 2 metres from me on the control desk, England has the most stringent electrical safety laws in the world ans is renowned for having the strictest health and safety, I don't know where you came from nor do i care, keep your criticism to yourself - nobody wants to hear it.
I could continue to point out reasons why you are full of shit but i have better things to do than troll people.

Also you will find, England's Health and Safety has taken the important parts of the EU regulations AND put in our own, which the EU were supposed to add in their laws and regs but never did, and ours have been safest from the start.
But seriously, flipping your shit just because you can't see a fire extinguisher in a photo from a different angle? lol, are you just bored of wanking so decided to be a pussy tonight or something?

The brief words of defeat. The uk dose follow UE standard health and safety ..but then adds on its own Higher precautions and legislations that are tighter and more widely inspected than the EU terms. All of these can be found here on the UK : http://www.hse.gov.uk/legislation/ OR HERE : http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/law.pdf
OOOOHHHHHWWWWW SHIIEEEETTTT

Dayyymm gurl awh shieet!
Though you are completely correct...We do indeed have such a strict health and safety laws for live performance equipment..Especially when rigging lights and sound systems..... Its why techs get paid close to £10 an hour if not more because of all of the health and safety precautions on top of the complexity of the job already!
Also......
BRIAN BLESSED! :3

funnily enough, i just picked up that very book thinking of scanning its cover and adding it to the comment, the 63a supply is RCD protected and the distribution board protects every outlet via MCB, the dimmer and power converter for the fans is even on a pine reactor to reduce the electrical noise :3
