"The darkest places in the world often lie within oneself, a place full of torment and agony, rage and oppression, it strangles us, and dominated us. But within oneself, there is also hope, and a light that shines toward a better tomorrow. The struggle to find the light leads us through many twist and turns, and a constant battle rages on between the one that longs to rip out our heart and suffocate our mind, destroying our very being from the inside out, and the one who beckons us to freedom from it all. Through a dark abyss of heavy shadow, the smallest light will shine bright, and through the storm, there will be those who will guide and lead, to find the place of freedom."

This photo was meant to capture this. And is representative of my own struggles of the past. There is much representational elements of this. Darkness being my past of depression and mental confusion, the wolf version of myself representing the fandom that brought much clarity and help to my life. The yoyo that of course helped me through much of the hard times and struggles, the black blade being the thing reminding me of the past struggle, but remembering that it is behind me, and the light representing God, which for me was the greatest help of all.

I haven't taken many personal emotional photo's for myself like this before, but I feel I greatly achieved what I wanted with this, and I get a strong feeling when I look at this.
