Yes a very big and awesome surprise! Thank you so much, I'm very honoured to be the subject of your work :). I love how the wings came out, and the texture on the chest and midsection is really good! I don't know how artists digitally create such realistic tones and textutrsing. Lots a practicehe hehe!
Wow...really nice coloring, and the body looks very three-dimensional!
The one thing that looks a little odd to me are the straight parts of the wings, particularly the upright ones--they look ruler-straight, unnaturally so. But the light coming through the webbing is very convincing! :)

Thanks! I worked hard on the rendering of the piece. I agree with the wings. I made'em a little bend but kept telling myself they're bones in there and I didn't think they'd be bent. I should've used this reference for wings. BAH!
