The other Halloweeny Pokemon I got from http://boltonartist.deviantart.com/
I imagine they started life WITH eyes but after battles and desperate hunger they lost them, their eyes have healed shut apart from one of Krunchs'. They can replace their eyes with certain gems and it gives them more visiablity than no eyes, the process of changing them still hurts no matter how many years they've been doing it.
Fun Fact #1: Krunch ate one of Krinks' eyes when they were younger but Krink still loves his big brother.
Fun Fact #2: Krink is younger than Krunch and really enjoys eating emeralds above all other gems.
Fun Fact #3: Krunch doesn't have his chest ruby anymore, and Krink hides his under his bandana.
