This is more of a practice piece than anything else, but I ended up liking it enough to upload it anyway.
In retrospect, I should probably have done this in Photoshop rather than Painter...
The BG was much redder originally, but it came out COMPLETELY different on every screen I viewed it on, so I took it back a bit to make it more controllable... Meh.
Coming back after almost two weeks of internetless vacation is rather daunting ("You have 412 new messages" and about half an hour to view all of them) D:
Criticism is very much appreciated.

You mean in the foreground? Yeah, I wasn't sure about that... I figured it brings the guy out a little more because it suggests a detail gradient, and it's supposed to hint at the fact that he's the only organic entity in the picture (and hence wears leather). I guess it doesn't read too well.
