Dai Character Reference
Dai is an Akita character that belongs to 
carson10us. I did this reference sheet for him on commission.
Dai is an Akita, a japanese dog breed. His name and the Kanji character means "Big." He loves to bark, and he's definitely not a Husky (Akitas are a much much larger dog breed! Photo of an Akita)
I used markers combined with colored pencil for the fur textures. Haha, I also have to say I love that it looks like he's barking at himself and then giving himself a "look" because he's being barked at.
