In the desert, a fennec can beat just about anything. :P Take an alligator, a panther, and a shark and toss them in the desert.
Fennec wins! :D We just take a nap in a safe place under a rock and wait a bit. ^_^
Near water? Beaver would win if they fought, but the fennec is still a fox, so I think the fennec would charm it and have it catch fish for 'em. :D :D Mmm fish!
