Thank you very much! This picture really did fit nicely into the reductivist style I've been going for. And I'm glad you think so too! Its harder than it seems to not draw something but still have it appear on the page. Recently I've been trying out some More is more, type digital painting just to try to see how that's done too, because I'm suspicious that I may be doing things backward by trying to reduce forms and figures without ever having really tried to draw them in excruciating detail.
Well, the one problem with mono-color minimalist shapeforms like this is you're limited to self-descriptive angles. You get that "cheap 3D" effect whereby everything, regardless of its position or where you're viewing it from, is flat, facing the viewpoint. That, or you have to have a lot more, clear distinction between articles in the image. Which begins to rob it of its simplicity!
