You awaken, flying through the air, a vision of ghostly beauty floating before you. Is this a dream? a Fantasy?
...No, wait, you just got Shadow Punched so hard you blacked out for a second.
Seiglinde, or "Linde" for short was a ghost born to ghost parents- unlike some ghosts, she never was alive. Rather, she grew up almost entirely within ghost society, learning its esoteric rules of social interaction and manipulation. However, she did have an edge over her peers: She had a inborn talent for battling, quickly progressing her way though the Spectral Battle Academy (The Spirit World equivalent of the PCA), quickly evolving into a Dusclops. On her 18th birthday, shortly before her senior year, she was given a reaper cloth and did not hesitate a moment to go through the ritual to use it.
Then, right before school started, a scandal struck her family, and because of it, Linde was exiled from the spirit realms as punishment. She refuses to speak of this time in detail, but her teammates have pieced together that the person who caused the scandal was not her, and she took their punishment in their place to protect them.
Exiled into a world she knew nothing about, she proceeded to attempt to track down Thomas Tamlin, a Bannette she knew was a friend of her family and lived int he mortal realm because he'd married a Gardevoir, hoping he'd have the inclination to help her find a place in this new world, or at least get her bearings.
She finally managed to track him down while he was visiting the Gardevoir side of the family, at the Garkirl residence. It was there she met Joshua Garkirl, who was forming a team for his senior year at the PCA- He saw her sheer battling talents, and convinced her to join the PCA, and help her get settled there- as his team was already full, he asked her to join as an alternate, and she gratefully agreed.
Linde is a strange one- having her social an moral mores derived from ghost society, she tends not to socialize with mortals well, or even ghosts raised in mortal society. She frequently tends to evaluate others based solely on how they can be useful to her, or how they could potentially threaten or control her, meaning she's often seen as manipulative or paranoid. This, however, does not apply to her teammates, to whom she's show a level of loyalty and obedience that it borders on subservience. This is especially true towards Joshua. Whether this is merely out of gratitude to the help he's given her, or a sign of deeper emotions she's unwilling or unable to express is a subject of debate to interested parties.
