I felt it was time to reveal to all of you one of Orion’s weapons, the tools he uses to accomplish the tasks handed to him by the queen of the dead, Oblivia.

Name: Soluna’s Blade

Nicknames: Black Tsubaki, Ender’s Blade, Reaper’s Judgment

History: This legendary weapon was crafted by Oblivia long ago and as a result is feared by the shadows due to its immense strength and capabilities. The blade has very specific criteria for its wielder; anyone who does not meet it is subject to blood-stained nightmares and paranoia. The weapon judges the soul of the person who tries to wield it, basing its judgment on the person’s qualities. The weapon was sealed away due to the criteria being so specific, therefore making it a very unsafe weapon. The weapon later accepted Orion as its master, and as a result was gifted to him by Oblivia to aid in his missions against the shadows. The blade obeys Orion’s orders even the command to allow others to use it, despite the fact it is not truly theirs.

Abilities/Capabilities: Soluna’s blade has the ability to release a soul from captivity, no matter how strong the seal is, this is useful for freeing souls from dark bonds and such, but there is a catch. The blade can’t release a soul if it’s in a LIVE vessel, the vessel/ being has to be weakened substantial in order to release the soul; but if the vessel is in an inanimate object or is sealed by a spell it can release it, by pointing the blade at the source and focusing on the souls release. The blade has the ability to absorb souls through the skull on the hilt and send them to the Soluna realm so they can be judged by Oblivia. When summoned the blade appears in a burst of violet haze and black lightning. When the blade is drawn it constantly leaks a steady black haze, and because of the energy of the sword itself, whenever it strikes something it releases small doses of energy that look similar to white skull-like spirits. The sheath also has special functions as well!!! When the blade is sheathed, the sheath uses sparra to instantaneously sharpen the blade. The small eyes on the sheath are used to transmit images and happenings back to Oblivia in the event that data needs to be collected.
