Ah man, this is amazing.
Although I don't really consider myself a particularly religious person, I would take the animistic and polytheistic ones over the monotheistic any day. Something about drawing upon your surroundings to envelop everything in this world, from good to bad, without the transfixed bias of an absolute truth or will.
Sadly the norse religion is severely bastardized and near impossible to restore by now, as almost every physical element of its practice was thoroughly ground into the earth and it's recollection thwarted, during its "the cross or the sword" conversion. But I suppose I'm just repeating you :p
