This was drawn for an assignment in my art class where I was given a title of an existing work and I had to create something for that title without looking up the actual work. I got "Luminous" - it was quite easy for me to come up with many ideas, since I enjoy playing with lighting, colors and contrast!
In the end, I decided to draw Waterise, one of my wolf characters, staring into some sort of magical pool. Eventually, I want to write about her, but right now the only thing I know is that I want her to have some sort of magical power of seeing things in water.
