FLASH COMIC - The XtremeZone - Ep01: The Shrinking Terror
REFRESH: I FIXED THE SIZE ISSUE.
The file is 9.6MB big, give it time to load.
This is the first episode of an anthology series I have in production, in the similar format as like "The Twilight Zone" but dealing with macro/micro situations with familiar characters from classic cartoon franchises. This comic could ruin your childhood...or enhance it.
This comic is pretty tame compared to my other works, but is very dark.
WARNING: This comic can take around 10-15 minutes or more to read through it. I highly recommend you have both patience and/or a snack.
This comic also uses music cues to enhance the mood; for the best experience that I can give you, please set your volume accordingly.
(The music is heavily edited for this comic and falls under the Fair Use Policies; citations in the credits.)
I started this episode in July and just finished it. I projected that I could get this comic done in a month, but it took longer because I had school and other distractions keeping me from finishing it.
I plan to create three episodes per season. The next two may likely be shorter than this one; I got a little carried away with this episode. (300 Frames)
I meant no disrespect to the characters portrayed nor to the original creators.
Please take your time with this comic, try not to rush through it, you may not enjoy it otherwise.
Try not to spoil the comic for others, this includes the twists, the characters portrayed and the franchise that this comic takes on.
The "Forward Arrow" progresses the comic and 'activates' the music cues.
The "Back Arrow" takes you back a frame and 'deactivates' all playing music cues. Cues are renabled when you hit forward on a frame with a cue.
You can also navigate with the arrow keys on your keyboard, be sure to click into the comic first before you do so.
I hope you enjoy my comic and thanks for 6 years here on FA!

I did explore that theory, I was gonna have them mention to each other that when the two beams collide, molecules and atoms caught in the beam would shred apart, in other words, it would "split the atom."; and that would be bad, like "crossing the streams" bad. But I left it out because I felt it was too much technobable. The idea if they shrink each other at the same time would be bad because their rays cant grow them back while shrunk.
Meh, should have caused the rays themselves to overload, dissipating the energy they used, and causing everyone shrunk to grow back to normal. Then....well, you like the bad guy wins ending a bit for your stuff, so I can't fault you there. Not one for these particular ones being the bigs, but not bad art, good story, and very well done flash. Excellent job.
This comic was very well done. Music was good, story was very good itself too. And the eyes on that character was evil and menacing then I remember them being.
My only criticism is that the hero wasnt protrayed as well as the others, and came off abit self pretentious then he was originally from the source material. Whether that was intentional for the story or not idk.
As long as people dont go all copyright/sopa whatever bs on ya, i wouldn't mind reading another xtremezobe comic, this was was enjoyable.
(im sorry for being vague in the critique, but you said "no spoilers" so i'm trying not to mention names ^^; )

Wow! I just had to complement you on a job well done. Everything was done very well, the characters, the writing, the art, and even the music. It was spot on, and had me on the edge of my seat. Keep up the great work, and I know something like this had to take a long time to do, but would certainly love to see more stuff like this.
I've started episode 2 a long time ago, didn't get too far. I have the whole story planned out, but time and motivation has been the issue as of late. It takes a ton of time and patience to pump out 300+ images for something like this.
Not to mention, Furaffinity hasn't found a new replacement for Flash as of yet. Many people are currently unable to view it as popular browsers like Firefox and Chrome have started to do away with Flash.
And no, I do not want to post each image separately or format it into a traditional comic strip. It would flood both FA and my account which I do not want to do. I have too much story to tell, and traditional comics wouldn't do it justice, (especially without the music lol) nor fit in with my current content. I enjoyed the interactive format, its fun and gives me free range on what I can do with the comic.
I want to continue it, but it would be difficult in my current climate.

Hecc, I've never seen this before but gosh, that was a nice read!
I really love Alvin's expressions, specially when he's playing with the micros. He's just so sadistic~ <3 But at the same time so smal and cute /)w(\ The music works really well with those situations!
Reminds me a bit of the stuff you made for Fenril x3
