I think I finally have the design for this little insect woman nailed down. I've settled on the name Kaida (thanks to TheRisingPhoenix for suggesting it) which means little dragon in Japanese.

I don't have a backstory for her yet, but I'm going to try coming up with something. I'm thinking she might take the role as some sort of mystic/druidic type character, like a weird sort of "nature witch" or healer, but I'm not completely certain yet.
She has lots of piercings simply because I'm rather fond of piercings and that's all the reason I need.

Another things I'm not certain about is her costume. I kind of like what I came with for the bottom half but I might need to do some tweaking to her top. The trouble is I needed something open backed due to her wings, but I could use anything very flowy or loose either. If Id given her something that drapes too much it would look somewhat odd due to her exaggerated proportions. Basically it would be tight around her breasts but then just billowy and super loose where it hangs over her extremely narrow waist. So I'll likely play around with that a bit more.
