This here is a Birdcage or Byzantine pendant that I made on accident the other night. I sat down to make a bracelet and I ended up with something so much more nifty, a pendant that resembles a dreamcatcher. This makes for great earings or pendants I think.
The pendant is made from byzantine with three Shaggy Loops chains hanging down. The great thing about Shaggy Loops or Flip flop chain as some people call it is the fact that it jingles so nicely. The whole thing is made from aluminum. The chain it is on is of course byzantine as well.
As always everything in my gallery is up for grabs and I also do custom orders of ANY kind and ANY color.

Everyone has their own tastes and I could make it how you like it since after all I always take custom work. However in this case the fact they share the same weave and the same size makes it eye catching and uniform. The most interesting part is the intersection where the chain meets the pendant. Look closely at that exact spot and tell me that's not cool looking. BUT you do have point. The chain does detract from the pendant itself just a tad bit but it is the full effect that is important. The pendant becomes more of a garnish for the chain and less the main subject since I put it on their to sell the chain not the pendant.
