Damn, the harder you try, the harder it gets. And when you see more art, your standards get higher.

Well, I tried again. Gave my little wolfy guy here a little more color to him.
Pattern is loosely based off azflip's Shoba.

Tried some cell shading. It sure as hell isn't perfect, but I like it. I might just keep messing with this one, see what works and what doesn't, maybe blur the shading, add some highlights, etc.

Photoshop's really good for this stuff! Except the freeform pen tool which continuously insists I drew a sharp corner when I didn't. But man, layers and shit. Butter as fuck.

Yeah! so give me some critique, so I can fix this up. Then I could try drawing some of your characters, for practice and whatnot. If you would like that, go ahead and message me or something.
