Awesomely done, and very expressive. What's your technique for these drawings? Any tips you'd like to share with the rest of us?

Technique on the sketching or the coloring? As for sketching... overacting is the key.

I could use some help with both, but sketching is the top concern. I'll keep your advice in mind!

Last time I had contact with her was not long after I stayed over at her place in summer 2008. After she went offline she sent me one more note, I think. She posted to DA and a blog for a while but I also don't see any more activity there either.
That's she's not active online or within this group of people anymore is her choice, but I'm curious about how she's doing. I sent her a mail a while ago actually, but she either didn't recieve it (was an older mail address) or she didn't reply.

Aww, that's too bad...I guess she's left the fandom, but I hope she's still doing art, somewhere...would be a shame if she stopped that too. :(

Yep, that year some things happened that made her fed up with this group of people, and then disappeared off the internet. It's funny, as she was the one who convinced me to go to EF in the first place, my first con when I turned 18, and she was going to be my roommate. She didn't end up going and I never saw her anymore after that (I met her three times), but at EF I met some people that changed my life pretty drastically after that. It's interesting how things go!
