In honor of my favorite holiday rolling around the corner this month, I’m gonna be drawing some of my favorite characters/creatures from ghost stories and spooky folktales/legends.
Japanese folklore has some of the best ghost stories; one in particular I wanted to draw was the one about the samurai’s wife who comes back as an onryō (a vengeful ghost) to haunt him after he broke his promise never to remarry.
