My contribution to the Equine Art eXchange this month of Calzephyr and her little Welsh Pony self!

I've been playing with some printmaking paper that has a bit more tooth. It takes the color quite well, but does leave the dreaded white speckles unless you really work the piece (or use one of those colorless blender things that I haven't used for years...).

Staedtler Ergosoft colored pencils (set of 24) on either BFK Reeves or Artist Masters Printmaking paper (can't remember which...). No black or grey used ('cept for the inking) because my professors have made me black-phobic.
