Part one of many. It is a bit of a introduction of a story. Thank you all for the opportunity to post this!As the Snow began to drift to earth, the silver furred fox made his way back home. His pace kept time with the busy city streets as he looked from place to place. He seemed to long to join the people of the city in their life; The bakery and it's delectible pastries, The tailor and it's wonderful hues of burgandy and cerulean. He even wanted to join the others that were his age, doing whatever it was that teenagers seem to do. He sighed wistfully and stopped at the corner, seeing the bus stop nearby. He felt the temptation rise in him as he continued down the street; The electronic music, the flashing lights, and the laughter of teenagers. He cursed himself inwardly for passing by it so often, but at the same time, he knew that if he didn't pass it, he would have nothing. Nothing to remind him of his own needs and desires, nothing to let him know that he was not an adult yet. Without another word, he stopped in front of the arcade, the sounds and lights welcoming him.
As he looked inside of the arcade, he was shocked; There were so many games, yet so few people. He felt rather nervous, walking fron game to game. Within seconds, he saw a large crowd gathering around a pair of gamers. One of the two happened to be a rather short canine, with deep brown fur, blazing crystal blue eyes, and piercing sapphire hair. The group seemed to be rather entertained, but one voice stood out among the rest, shouting at the canine and jeering him.
“Tay, that isn't fair, you shouldn't be messing with the newbies so much” He called out, hearing the group laugh as the game's tide turned dramatically, and the taller adversary was easily crushed. Tay gave a cocky grin and laughed as the crowd dispersed, waving each person away.
“And that is Fifty. Oh well, that's all for today folks. My thumbs are now offically sore. Try again tomorrow” Tay said as a small line of gamers formed, wanting to challenge.
The fox immidiately gawked at Tay, F-Fifty straight matches? You have to be kidding me! With that in mind, the fox made his way to a nearby game, losing almost instantly. The fox sighed, I knew I was no good at this...he told himself as he put in another dollar. Almost instantly he was back where he was just before he had died. He jumped as he heard a voice in his ear.
“New at this, are we?”
The fox jumped and looked around to see Tay. He felt his face flush as he began to answer,
“Yeah, you must be Tay, right? You are really good at this” He said, a small smile on his face, “I hardly ever get to play”
Tay nodded and smiled, “You kinda seem nervous. The game isn't going to kill you.” He said teasingly, standing behind the fox.
“First of all, you have your stance all wrong. You need to be more comfortable.” Tay instructed, standing closely behind the fox and placing one leg in between the fox's pushing them further apart. “Now you will be more comfy”
