I always name my pets after movie villians. I had a German Shepherd I named Montag. Montag was an evil magician form the 1970 movie "The Wizard of Gore". In this movie, he would perfom magic tricks that would become real later on. For instance, he would saw a woman in half on stage, and she would emerge OK, but the next morning, she would be found in her bed SAWN IN HALF!
In 2005, Montag died and I buried him out back.
Fast forward one year. I got a new German Shepherd, Torg. One day I was chopping weeds with a machete. Torg snuck up behind me and I chopped his face. REAL HARD. Just like when Jason Vorhees chops peoples' heads in half in Friday the 13th.
It didn't phase Torg too much. There was NO BLEEDING! The cut was so deep I could spread the wound open and see his skull. Torg seemed to be OK so I finished up what I was doing and 30 seconds later I couldn't find Torg . I walked into the house and there was blood all over the kitchen floor. I had to take him to an emergency vet and he got stitiches. (Cost me $425!)
It wasn't until the next day that I realized this happened on the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of burying Montag and just 50 feet from his grave. And just like the magic tricks in the movie, Torg was OK , but later he was bleeding everywhere.
Was this a coincidence?
Or was Montag a dog from another dimension with special powers?
I truly believe Montag was able perform one last magic trick from beyond the grave.
