So in case anyone was wondering what I did sometimes in my spare time. What was going to become personal vape production ended up being "hey I can make candy with these flavors!" And thus barrelled me down, not the world of making e-liquids, but candy. pure sugar diabetic inducing candy.
I'd like to say These are the result of sweat blood and tears, but that would be a lie. A filthy lie. It was sweat mostly, and stubbornness. Sweat as I stay by a scalding hot burner wondering idly if one wrong slip would see me disfigured for life as I landed face-first in confectionery napalm and a hot burning skillet, provided I survived the encounter.
If any tears were involved they were the result of my own stupidity in response to handling the candy itself. And as you can bet that has happened more than once. Going hand in hand blood would be involved if first degree burns actually bled. Alas they do not fortunately or unfortunately for the victim involved. So sorry these suckers don't cater to vampires.
I'll be giving most of these out for halloween to trick or treaters, anything thats left over (and i doubt such will be the case) they'll be squirreled away untill Further Confusion.
The best part about all this is i can make ANY DAMN FLAVOR I WANT practically. I just need a supplier of said flavor. Which is awesome because Banana flavors are hard to come by, now I make my own.
Pictured here is grape (purple) Cherry (red) Watermelon (pink) Cottoncandy (teal [was supposed to be blue but somehow the candy warped the color) and Orange (take a wild guess what color/flavor) Not shown are the banana cream, strawberry cream, orange cream, and apple flavors. They're already at the parent's house.

More than open to it actually im actually crunching numbers now to see how viable it would be, a minimum order on regular one-note flavors (orange, grape, cherry etc) would be 10 suckers at $12 for the lot plus flatrate shipping. (which is about $6) for customs the minimum order is 20 as thats how many suckers a batch makes, roughly. You'd also get any extras that happened to be made from that should there be extra. that would run $20 plus shipping so a little less. I can't gaurantee the combinations would taste awesome but I'd do my best :p
the fun part was finding ones that wouldnt MELT when they came in contact with candy that clocked in at 400 degrees F. turns out i was using chocoalte candy molds for my earlier experiments. all the ones you see here were made with proper hard candy molds and It was a pain in the tail to find them specifically for this purpose. Thankfully these dont melt at all and create perfection every time.
I was going to ask this too, heh. I have some hard candy molds for a few things but I haven't found any for paw prints. I have some for chocolate, but that doesn't work for hard candy in the least.
Did you find them at a local craft or baking store? Or through on-line?
These might be a hit at a convention!
I know for Megaplex this year I'm trying to expand into different candies. Lately I've learned to do Salt Water Taffy, and while I've done hard candies before going into lollipops is a definite winner for the theme of the convention too, and LOVE the flavor potentials!
Now, just to find more molds, heh.

I take my hat off to you, Fox... these are a neat idea that has been brought to fruition through trial and perseverance. I'm sure you'd have a fair number of furries out there who'd be keen to have these to hand out on Halloween or just have them to give as treats to the rugrats in their life. Heck, the kid at heart in most of us would be hopping up and down at the thought of 'em. +2 practical art points for you!
Great thing is that they are non-perishable, able to be done in customer request batches and could be treated like commisions... dosh first, candy artwork created and then shipped out.

"Who can take a sunrise...sprinkle in a dream...throw away the sadness and collect up all the cream, the candy Fox....Oh the candy Fox can.."
*Is shot* Okay, I'll stop now.
Wonderful execution of a wonderful idea, Fox. As someone said before, Overlord Fox, ruling the world with Nuclear Cute and Weaponized sugary goodness.
