This should teach me not to bring any of my Plushie Patrol to play-dates. It's my own damn fault, Kurama's a cub, no way he could understand what these guys mean to me. To him, it's just a toy, another plush to chew on. To me, of course, he's a long lost friend and brother.
I gently rescued Rojas and put him somewhere safe, a little soggy perhaps, but no worse for wear. I'd have to clean him up a bit so he didn't end up smelling like jackal slobber, but... he'd survive the ordeal.
